The house is in the small hamlet of Arles-sur-tech. Arles-sur-tech is
situated in the south eastern area of the Pyrenees-Orientales within the
Languedoc-Roussilon region. Situated at the foothills of the
Pyrénées which run in the east down to the Mediterranean coast and to the west
to the heights of Andorra. |
| The area boasts 300 days of sunshine per year. Not only are the spring,
summer and autumns exceptional times of the year, but the close proximity to
over 20 ski resorts in the French Pyrénées, not to mention Spain and Andorra,
make winter an exciting time to be in Arles-sur-tech. |

Skiing on the French side of the
Pyrénées is one and a half hours away while
Andorra is a further hour. The Spanish border is half an hour and the
Mediterranean coast forty minutes. |
